Signage shall be provided in the freight elevator which will read: “THIS IS NOT A PASSENGER ELEVATOR, NO PERSONS OTHER THAN THE OPERATOR AND FREIGHT HANDLERS ARE PERMITTED TO RIDE ON THIS ELEVATOR” and the freight class that the elevator is designed for.The sign shall be located in a conspicuous position and permanently and securely fastened to the car enclosure. The signs shall be durable and readily legible with0.5 in. (13 mm) high letters.

The elevator controller has a large hole in the side from a cooling unit that was installed previously. Seal the large hole to comply with NFPA 70 requirements.

The fireman's emergency service phase I and II operations was tested and the following deficiency was noted: The elevator car doors failed to open automatically without using the door open button when recalled to the primary landing. Repair and reinspection required in 14 days.
