ASME A17.1 2004 with 2005 Addendum and 2005 : Elevators	1.6 - Car emergency signal	8.6.4.15 Phone or alarm not functioning (Mandatory Re-Inspection due in 14 days)	x	The elevator ADA telephone inside the elevator would not activate with the 110V disconnect in the machine room in the “off” position indicating that the battery had been depleted. Only a machine room inspection was performed, a full inspection shall be performed before the annual is completed. Reinspection is required.
