A17.1-1996 : Elevators	2.13 - Governor,overspeed switch and seal	205.15	x	x	Upon performing the required five year full load, the elevator safety governor was found to be worn to a degree that the pull-through force was overly excessive and could potentially permanently damage the elevator safeties if testing proceeded. The elevator has been removed from service. Repair or replacement of the governor is required and a reinspection shall be performed before the elevator can be returned to service.
