A new drop ceiling has been installed at some point with the anchor bolts protruding through the car top approximately 4”. The anchor bolts shall be cut off smooth on the cart top as not to cause a tripping hazard or potential injury to maintenance and emergency personnel.

When testing the audible signaling device (alarm bell) with the 110V disconnect in the machine room in the “off” position, the device failed to sound, indicating that the back-up power device (battery) has failed. Repair for proper operation. Reinspection required.
