A17.1-2016 : Elevators	3.20 - Governor rope	8.6.3.4	x	The elevator safety pull out connection to the governor rope has been replaced with fist grip type attachment devices that are now impeding the pull out of the elevator car safeties. The governor rope attachments shall be replaced with a code conforming attachments that do not impede the actuation of the elevator car safeties. Repair and reinspection required in 30 days or the elevator shall be removed from service.
