The auxiliary power lowering operation shall be functional. An uninterruptible power supply for the emergency lowering operation was sitting on the floor of the machine room. When an elevator is equipped with this device, it has to be operational and can't be removed without the permission of the MO AHJ.

The in-car telephone shall be operational. The phone is dialing TKE through a non-emergency number and being put into a queue where inputs from buttons are being requested which is not possible or permissible on an ADA phone. It is taking so long to be answered that the phone is timing out, and the call is never answered.

The following violation cited in 2023 has not been corrected: The auxiliary power lowering operation shall be functional.
