MO Minimum : Elevators	(G) - Maintenance, Repair and Replacements	8.6.1.6 General Maintenance Methods		The battery back–up lowering device was tested and did not operate as designed, the elevator failed to return to a floor and open its doors. Repair the device to operate as it is designed.
ASME A17.1 2004 with 2005 Addendum and 2005 : Elevators	4.2 - Hoistway doors	8.6.4.13		A number of hoistway doors have not had the fire retaining tabs installed on them. Fire retaining tabs are required to keep the hoistway door intact in case of extreme heat conditions. Install fire retaining tabs on all hoistway doors
