Per Memorandum 002 from the State of Missouri - Documentation shall not be kept on the car top for elevators that do not have a machine room or control room. All documentation that is pertinent to the elevator such as an MCP or fire log shall be kept on site, but shall not be stored in the hoistway, pit, or top of the car.
