This elevator has a backup emergency generator power that is used in case of a power outage. This system shall be scheduled to be tested and a reinspection is required. This requirement is due to the State of Missouri adopting the A17.1 2016 version of the elevator safety code. Reinspection required.

There is no code data plate found on the equipment to indicate the code and edition that the elevator was installed to, as used for all inspections. Provide a proper plate on the front of the controller or mainline disconnect.

The car traveling cable, underneath the car, has rubbed through the outer insulation in a couple of locations as the car reaches the lobby. Confirm that no internal wires have been affected and repair or replace traveling cable.
