A17.1-2016 : Elevators	3.23 - Suspension Means	8.6.3.2 (Re-Inspection)	x	x	8.6.4.19.13 Broken-Suspension-Member and Residual-Strength Detection Means. The suspension belt monitoring system is disabled/malfunctioning. With no monitoring means, the suspension belts were visual inspected with a significant amount of rouge present. This unit shall be removed from service until the suspension belts have been replaced and a repaired/replaced suspension belt monitoring system is in place.	8/29/2023

A17.1-2016 : Elevators	3.23 - Suspension Means	8.6.4.19.13 Broken Suspension Member and Residual Strength Detection Means	x	x	The suspension belt monitoring system has been disabled allowing the elevator to remain in service. This system is designed and required to place the elevator out of service when detection shows immediate replacement of the suspension belts.
