The testing has not been completed on the elevator at this time due to the following items: 1 - Counterweight buffer has not been tested. Unable to complete due to construction being performed in the hoistway. 2 - The brake has not been tested with a load of 125%. Unable to complete due to door operator motor being repaired.

The emergency car lighting is not operational, likely indicating that the back-up power device (battery) has failed. The fixture shall be repaired to operate. Reinspection required.

When testing the audible signaling device (alarm bell) with the 110V disconnect in the machine room in the “off” position, the device failed to sound, indicating that the back-up power device (battery) has failed. Repair for proper operation. Reinspection required.
