The ventilation in the machine room is marginally efficient to keep the elevator controller at its required temperature for operation. At this time, the elevator maintenance contractor has the elevator controller doors open with a small ventilation fan keeping the operating temperature sufficient for the elevator controller, which does not meet the code requirement. Upgrade the elevator machine room ventilation.
