The door close button does not work. Phase 2 fire service cannot operate without a functioning door close button in the elevator. Phase 2 fire service shall be code compliant. This is the only elevator in the building, therefore the elevator was left in service. This deficiency must be corrected in 15 days or the elevator will be turned off and red tagged.
