Upon performing the required annual pressure test, the hydraulic system of this elevator was having a significant amount of oil loss in the system. The elevator was locked out of service until the system is repaired.

There is no code data plate found on the equipment to indicate the code and edition that the elevator was installed to, as used for all inspections. Upon investigation, it was determined that the proper code should be ASME A17.1 1996 . Provide a proper plate on the front of the controller or mainline disconnect.
