The testing could not be completed on the elevator at this time. This elevator was placed out of serviced and red tagged in 2022. In doing so, this elevator became “inactive”. An elevator can only remain in “inactive” status for 2 years. The elevator shall be returned to service or the elevator shall be decommissioned according to the State of Missouri requirements (per Missouri Division of Fire Safety MEMORANDUM 003-3) Currently the power is disconnected and only a machine room inspection could be performed.
