The fireman's emergency service phase I and II operations was tested and the following deficiency was noted: The smoke sensors are not wired into the controller for proper phase I recall. The elevator will only operate on the keyed bypass operation. The smoke sensors shall be wired into the elevator controller and all smoke sensors related to the the elevator shall be tested before the elevator can be returned to service.
