The humidity in the elevator machine room is significantly higher than the elevator controller is designed for due to recent flooding. The humidity in the machine room shall be reduced to proper levels for the elevator controller and other equipment in the machine room to operate as designed.

The hydraulic oil in the hydraulic controller for this elevator is milky in color indicating that the oil is contaminated with water. The elevator pump motor on this unit is submersed in oil and will fail with excessive water contamination. The hydraulic oil in this unit shall be changed.
