8.6.1.2.1 General Maintenance Requirements Documentation

A written Maintenance Control Program (MCP) shall be in place to maintain the equipment in compliance with the requirements of 8.6.The MCP shall include but not limited to examinations, tests, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments to applicable components at regular intervals.

This elevator has an overspeed valve device installed that is not sealed and is now required to have a 5 year full load test performed. This requirement is due to the State of Missouri adopting the A17.1 2016 version of the elevator safety code.
