The car door restrictor device shall be adjusted so that it will properly catch and restrict opening of the car doors to a maximum of 4 inches when the car is away from the landing zone. The door restrictor is disabled at this time. Re-inspection is required

8.6.1.4.1(a) On-Site Maintenance Records (MCP Records)

There shall be maintenance records kept in the elevator machine room accessible to the inspector depicting dates and descriptions of maintenance tasks performed, callbacks, examinations, tests, adjustments, replacements and wiring diagrams. This shall be in accordance to the requirements in the Maintenance Control Program. Electronic means has NOT been approved by the State of Missouri.
