Emergency/standby power operation of the elevator shall be tested to complete the annual inspection.

8.6.5.16.5 Over Speed Valve Testing
|

|
This elevator is equipped with an over speed valve. A category 5 test shall be performed on the over speed valve in 2021 or 2022. The valve shall be sealed and tagged after the category 5 test.
