8.6.5.16.5 Over Speed Valve Testing
|

|
This elevator is equipped with an over speed valve that in not sealed. A category 5 test shall be performed on the over speed valve on or before the next annual inspection. The valve shall be sealed and tagged after the category 5 test.

This elevator is equipped with an overspeed valve that in not sealed. A category 5 test shall be performed on the overspeed valve on or before the next annual inspection. The valve shall be sealed and tagged after the category 5 test. Note: The State of Missouri has allowed the category 5 test of this overspeed valve to be delayed to 2023 so it can be done in conjunction with the other unit at this location that is also due for a category 5 test.
