The firemen's emergency service phase I and II operations were tested and the following deficiencies were noted:The ?Call Cancel? operation did not work in phase II as required. When the ?Call Cancel? is initiated the car continues to move to the top of the hoistway. The car is required to stop at the nearest floor.

The firemen's emergency service phase I and II operations were tested and the following deficiencies were noted:The fireman service phase I operation doesn?t work as required. There are no smoke detectors tied into the elevator controller to initiate phase I fireman service. Recommend the elevator maintenance company and the alarm companies initiate these devices together and retest the system.

The car traveling cable, in the hoistway, has rubbed through the outer insulation in a couple of locations as the car reaches the lobby. Confirm that no internal wires have been affected and repair or replace traveling cable.
