This elevator has a backup emergency generator power that is used in case of a power outage. This system shall be scheduled to be tested and a reinspection is required. This requirement is due to the State of Missouri adopting the A17.1 2016 version of the elevator safety code. Reinspection required. NOTE: The units at this location are in the middle of a major alteration and emergency power shall be tested once work has been completed.

The elevator hoisting ropes are not the correct type of of lay for this elevator sheave. The correct rope is of “lang lay” construction as required by the manufacture. The ropes shall be replaced with the correct ropes specified by the manufacturer. Reinspection in 60 days.
