There is a smoke detector and a heat detector at the top of the hoistway, there is also a heat detector in the machine room. Since there is no shunt trip disconnect in the machine room and there are no sprinklers in the two areas mentioned, verify that these detectors do not affect the operation of the elevator.

This elevator is equipped with an over speed valve that in not sealed. A category 5 test shall be performed on the over speed valve in 2021 or 2022. The valve shall be sealed and tagged after the category 5 test.
