There are a number of machine room lighting fixtures that are not operational on the day of inspection. Repair lighting for proper illumination for maintenance and emergency personnel.

The testing could not be completed on the elevator at this time. This elevator was placed out of service and the facility is requesting “Inactive Status”. Inactive status is only allowed for 2 years at which time the elevator shall be returned to service or the elevator shall be decommissioned according to the State of Missouri requirements. Currently the power is disconnected and only a machine room inspection could be performed. A Category 5 test shall need to be performed before the unit can be returned to service.
