The final limit switch in the pit shall be adjusted to activate before the buffer switch is activated. Currently the counterweight measurement is 3.5” and is activating before the normal directional and final limit switch activates.

The elevator machine room door shall be self-closing/self-locking and shall be operable from the interior space without the use of a key. Repair the self-closing device.

The seismic detection operation of the elevator did not operate as designed. The elevator failed to open the car door automatically as required when the counterweight detection device was activated. Repair the programming of this feature to operate as required.
