A permanent, safe, and convenient means of access to the machine room is required. The current access does not meet the criteria addressed in the latest adopted code of the State of Missouri (A17.1 2016 8.11) Construct or modify access to the elevator machine room to be safe and convenient for maintenance/emergency personnel.
