A number of hoistway doors have not had the fire retaining tabs installed on them. Fire retaining tabs are required to keep the hoistway door intact in case of extreme heat conditions. Install fire retaining tabs on all hoistway doors

The battery back–up lowering device was tested and did not operate as designed, the elevator failed to return to a floor and open its doors. Repair the device to operate as it is designed.

The testing has not been completed on the elevator at this time. The weight test shall be performed and the safeties set before the inspection is completed.
