The belt monitoring device that monitors the hoist belts was showing the fault code “CSB replacement shall be scheduled”. The hoist belts were thoroughly inspected visually and no deterioration was detected. This fault code also did not show immediate replacement. The hoist belts shall be replaced or the monitoring device shall be verified to be operating as the manufacturer has designed. Reinspection required.
