11 CSR 40-5.090 Inspection and Testing

8.11 Periodic Inspection and Test.

The tests required by A17.1 2016 - Section 8.11 and described by A17.2 shall be completed. The elevator experienced a component failure during the test. The items completed were soft set safety test, and running the hoist-way. The tail sheave switch needs to be tested to make sure it takes the elevator out of service AFTER the first stop. All other items, including emergency power test, need to be completed.
