This elevator is labeled “Food Service” which does not coincide with other units in the facility. To avoid confusion for maintenance and elevator personnel this elevator shall be labeled “113 S” and marked as such on the elevator jams, machine room, crosshead, and inside of the car.

The machine room lighting is a motion type sensor to activate. While this is an energy saving measure, it also is a safety/code concern. Without motion, the sensor deactivates the lighting, thereby leaving maintenance personnel with no lighting. Remove motion type sensor to a conventional on/off switch.
