Elevator has a hoist rope that is slipping across the sheave, the rope is worn. The driver sheave is worn from the rope slippage, repair or replacement of rope and sheave is recommended. Re-inspection required

Upon performing the required five year full load, the elevator safety governor was found to be worn to a degree that the mechanical and electrical protection devices would not activate within the required limits. Repair or replacement of the governor is required and a reinspection shall be performed before the elevator can be returned to service.

The testing has not been completed on the elevator at this time. The weight test shall be performed, safeties set, and buffers compressed before the inspection is completed.
