All elevators provided with automatic leveling where the landing sills project within the hoistway, shall be equipped with a bevel on the underside of the landing sill meeting the requirements of CSR 40-5.065 (A)14. Note: This elevator has no fascia between the top and bottom landings. It also isn't equipped with a door restrictor (not required under Missouri Minimums) which could present a hazardous condition with the car door open between floors and a substantial gap between the car sill and the hoistway wall. A bevel is required, but I recommend installing fascia from the bottom floor header to the top floor sill to close the gap.
