The front car door restrictor device shall be adjusted so that it will properly catch and restrict opening of the car doors to a maximum of 4 inches when the car is away from the landing zone. Reinspection is required.

When testing the audible signaling device (alarm bell) with the 110V disconnect in the machine room in the “off” position, the device failed to sound, indicating that the back-up power device (battery) has failed. Repair for proper operation.
