The elevator pit floor is covered in water, the elevator pit shall be kept clean and dry. A sump pump may be required if this condition is reoccurring.

There is a pipe that carries liquids directly above the elevator drive motor and controller. This pipes shall be guttered to assure that no discharge from this pipe falls onto the elevator equipment.

Winding drum operated machines shall have the hoist ropes reshackeled every two year, reshackling of this unit is overdue. Reinspection is required.
