The car top inspection station does not operate as designed and would not operate properly in the up direction. Up inspection would not operate in the elevator controller as well resulting in not being able to perform the annual pressure test. The device shall be repaired or replaced to operate as designed for maintenance/emergency personnel. Reinspection is required.
