8.6.5.16.5 Over Speed Valve Testing

This elevator is equipped with an over speed valve. A category 5 test shall be performed on the over speed valve on or before the next annual inspection. The valve shall be sealed and tagged after the category 5 test.

A current MO State operating certificate shall be posted in the elevator equipment room, in a noncombustible frame with a clear protective vision plate over it.
