The elevator hoisting ropes are showing a high degree of wear and shall be replaced. Replace ropes within 90 days of inspection. Reinspection is required.

4.2 - Hoistway doors

A number of hoistway doors have not had the fire retaining tabs installed on them. Fire retaining tabs are required to keep the hoistway door intact in case of extreme heat conditions. Install fire retaining tabs on all hoistway doors.
