The unit was placed at the top landing and left to sit overnight. After sitting for 24 hours, the unit had dropped one landing below. Elevator Red Tagged.

Elevator failed the 15 minute static test. The static test was attempted several times to attempt to identify the problem. Elevator was placed at the highest landing with the manual valve shut off. Will check the next day to see how far it dropped.

A code compliant MCP and all the on-site documentation required by A17.1 2016 - 8.6.1.2.2 and 8.6.1.4 shall be provided in the machine room. On-site maintenance records and evacuation procedures are missing.

A record of findings for firefighters' service operation required by 8.6.11.1 with identification of the person(s) that performed the operation shall be available on-site. Log is on-site but not being kept up on a monthly basis.
