8.6.1.2.2(a) On-Site Documentation (Up-to-Date Wiring Diagrams)

There shall be maintenance records kept in the elevator machine room accessible to the inspector depicting dates and descriptions of maintenance tasks performed, callbacks, examinations, tests, adjustments, replacements and wiring diagrams. This shall be in accordance to the requirements in the Maintenance Control Program. Electronic means has NOT been approved by the State of Missouri.

The emergency car lighting is not operational, likely indicating that the back-up power device (battery) has failed. The fixture shall be repaired to operate. Reinspection required.
