There shall be maintenance records kept in the elevator machine room accessible to the inspector depicting dates and descriptions of maintenance tasks performed, callbacks, examinations, tests, adjustments, replacements and wiring diagrams. This shall be in accordance to the requirements in the Maintenance Control Program. Electronic means has NOT been approved by the State of Missouri.

The elevator hoisting ropes are showing a high degree of wear and shall be replaced. Replace ropes within 30 days of inspection. An alteration permit and reinspection are required.
